Mindsaid is designed to support mental health through guided exercises rooted in evidence-based therapeutic principles. We intentionally minimize data collection and processing.

In short:

• We do not store your voice recordings
• We do not upload your content to servers
• We do not sell or share personal data

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Mindsaid does not collect or store:

• Voice recordings
• Transcripts of what you say
• Personal journal entries
• Audio files
• Account information (no accounts exist)
• Behavioral analytics tied to your content

All speech processing happens locally on your device.

3. Information That May Be Collected

App Store & Device-Level Data

Apple may provide us with:

• Anonymous download statistics
• Crash reports
• Basic usage diagnostics

This data is aggregated, cannot be used to identify you personally, and does not include your spoken content.

4. Microphone & Speech Access

Mindsaid requires access to:

• Microphone (to record speech locally)
• Speech recognition (to convert speech to text on-device)

Your audio never leaves your device and is not stored by Mindsaid. You can revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

5. Data Storage

Mindsaid does not use external servers for content processing. Any temporary data used during a session exists only in memory and is discarded when the session ends. Optional future features (such as local history) will be clearly explained and opt-in.

6. Third-Party Services

Mindsaid uses:

• Apple system frameworks (Speech, AVFoundation)
• Apple App Store infrastructure

We do not use:

• Advertising SDKs
• Third-party analytics tracking content
• Data brokers

7. Children's Privacy

Mindsaid is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Mental Health Disclaimer

Mindsaid is a support tool, not a medical device. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or therapy. If you are in crisis or feel unsafe, seek immediate help from local emergency services or a trusted support line.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date.
